Tens of thousands of Vietnam and international visitors have enjoyed a sparkling colorful festival of Halong with the traditional performances of culture of Quang Ninh province.
“Your Halong Bay deserved to be one of new Seven Wonders of the World” said Mr. Marlzus Cllaiusach – German visitor. He said he knew Halong through the advocacy and voting for the new Seven Wonders of the World held by the organization named New Seven Wonders. He is happy to come to Halong with the crookedness and bustling of this city. Especially, he is excited to know that visitors are free to visit the caves and grottoes in the festival time, and he planned to come back in the following festivals.
The Bay is home to some unique features, such as fantastic floating fishing villages, unspoilt sandy strips of beach, the Cat Ba National Park full of brilliant birds and animals, misty mangrove forests and unbelievable offshore reefs. Take in spectacular sights such as the Wooden Stakes Cave, a large grotto full of strange stalagmites and stalactites and just one of the awesome underground caverns you can discover in Halong Bay. Many of the caves are illuminated adding to the fantastical feel of Vietnam’s natural wonder of the world.
