Vietnam’s tourism ambassador Ly Nha Ky worked with leaders of the ABC taxi firm in the Philippines on October 13-14 to obtain votes for Halong Bay as one of the new Seven Natural Wonders of the World.
The firm agreed to place posters on their cars to promote the bay and encourage people to vote for it.The Vietnamese tourism ambassador also worked with the President of the Exportbank to advertise images of Halong Bay and offered their staff T-shirts printed with an image of the bay.
She told them about the charming beauty of Halong Bay, which has entered the final round of voting for recognition as one of new seven wonders of the world in the competition organized by the New Open World Corporation. She also met with the Malaysian ambassador to the Philippines and other officials in the country. Nha Ky received support from officials as well as their promises to mobilize relatives and friends to vote for Halong Bay.
