Cua Ong temple is one of Halong bay tourist attractions, situated in Cam Pha commune, Quang Ninh province, on the mountain overlooking Bai Tu Long bay. Cua Ong temple is the place that worships Tran Quoc Tuan hero and his courtier. The main focus for tourists are 34 statues which are engraved precisely. Statues simulates heroes that are familiar with Vietnamese including Tran Quoc Tuan, Thanh Mau (his wife), two of princes, Tran Quoc Tang, Tran Anh Tong, Tran Khanh Du, Yet Kieu, Da Tuong, Pham Ngu Lao, Le Phu Tran, Do Khac Trung. The temple declared as a national monument by Vietnam Ministry of Culture and Tourism. It offers a panoramic view of Cam Pha commune and Bai Tu Long Bay.
Cua Ong temple is also famous for an indigenous festival that attracts lots of local people and foreign tourists. The festival takes place from January 2nd according to Lunar Calendar.
